The main OpenAI application for monetization will be the integration of <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">SEARCH<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> In 2002, &#8220;SearchForecast&#8221; rolled out its first &#8216;forecast&#8217; about Google&#8217;s algorithm, it&#8217;s Pay Per Click ad model and had a front row seat watching their powerful ascension to being a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/d9\/2024-05\/421661.pdf\">monopoly<\/a> where today they  control 84% of global search market for desktop (and in many countries 95%+ market share).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of October 2024, ChatGPT appears to be introducing the integration of SearchGPT into its main iOS app. A new search icon now shows up in the text input area, indicating the availability of this feature.
